Oh gosh, I already have so much to watch, but I think you’ve convinced me to add a few more to my list! I guess the one good thing that the AMPTP is doing by refusing to negotiate in good faith is to give me some time for a backlog of shows I’ve been meaning to watch. 🤷🏻♀️
I do want to watch Physical. I think Rose Byrne is a wonderful actress and your review adds to my desire. Now...to find time....
"You're the Worst" was my wife and my favorite comedy back when it was on. It didn't always nail the tone (especially when going for more serious themes), but was spot-on in its societal skewerings.
Maybe I missed it in your piece but you do know that Aya Cash is the daughter of Kim Addonizio (famous poet and novelist) and her father was a Buddhist teacher Eugene Cash. She comes from a long line of famous kin.
I read that Aya Cash was related to a famous female tennis player. Didn’t know these other details. You put it very eloquently re: not nailing the tone always on more serious stuff but I really dig the skewerings
I haven’t even heard of these shows! Will check them out.
Thanks for the mention!

That’s a positive framing of the AMPTP situation and yes to backlog of shows. I’m finding it enjoyable to discover these gems
