As I'm not yet watching The Last of Us (still trying to finish The Bear and Poker Face and the latest season of You), I skipped to your bonus content. So I definitely encourage more of that so people like me can follow along. I am enjoying Poker Face; I appreciate that it has a strong sense of humor and acknowledges it's ridiculousness. It feels odd to say this, but as much as I love Natasha Lyonne, some episodes her schtick is overly thick. And it's distracting to me. I am on I think episode 5 or 6. I just watched the one with Judith Light at the senior living facility and thought that one was great. Maybe my favorite so far.

I heard Natasha being interviewed on Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso and it was a riveting discussion.

I've heard mixed things on Daisy Jones and the Six but I'll probably watch it.

I have to say that I find You to be the best kind of soapy entertainment. (The TV show on Netflix, though perhaps "you" the person as well!) It's so over the top and insane and each episode it finds a way to go further than the last. I doubt it'll ever be able to top season 3 which was a masterwork of batshit crazy. So far season 4 is really good -- about as good as it has any right to be -- I hope it can keep it up.

Thanks for sharing! I love ❤️ “You” as well and need to watch the second half of this season. I didn’t think it would be my shtick but it’s just really entertaining. I will definitely include more bonus content going forward. Perry Mason just came back so will be recommending this too. And of course, Ted Lasso next week. I hear you on Lyonne’s shtick. I haven’t see the Judith Light one but I’m now looking forward. I also find the intro to the episodes with 10 minute exposition to be much. But I still love the underestimated detective 🕵️‍♀️ motif

Oh great - then maybe we can talk about You! Let me know if Perry Mason can be started with season 2 or if it references too many things from season 1. I would give it a shot if I could jump in with 2.

And yes, Ted Lasso will be a welcome return. I am not watching any 30 minute comedies right now.

Frayed on HBO Max is a stellar dark comedy that takes place in the 80s. It’s an Aussie production and cast and had two seasons that ran during pandemic time period. I’m so sad it’s done. Episodes run closer to 45 minutes but well worth the watch. On note of Aussie productions, I’ve heard good things about Mr. In Between, also same time period about a hit man for hire who is dealing with his challenging everyday life while also killing people which brings me to Barry, (Bill Hader) also a hit man theme.
