Thanks for having me back, Beth! Or should I call you Amy?

We didn't talk about it, but what did you think about the time jumps they incorporated? Particularly the one where she's pregnant and we speed through 8 months in a 3 minute speeded up montage. I thought it worked visually, but after the speedy marriage, the speedy pregnancy felt like they were trying to squeeze in a lot of "life" in one season.

I’m sticking with “Beth Ann” thank you very much.

It’s an interesting topic you broach about time jumps. The “hurry up and get married” was too fast. I could easily have seen the narrative of New Orleans wedding being a penultimate episode with an “8 months later” pregnancy delivery being the finale. In an alternate fan-fiction timeline universe, I’d very much want to see how that arc played itself out.

I loved Season 1 and was curious how the storylines would develop in Season 2, so thanks for this. I'm intrigued to see it. I found more meaning in the parental flashbacks & thought they contributed so much to the now-adult children's behaviours and how they see the world. The Jess/Jen scenes were almost comic relief in Season 1, but more vacuous. It stands to reason they'd develop vices in Season 2, but feels like it's just giving them something to do. I don't understand why Liz and Beth couldn't rebuild their friendship. Liz was so dismissive when Beth suggested it.
