Filmmaker Jeff Baena's disaster flick and cultural commentary on the zombie horror genre is a masterpiece, even by 2014 epic Zombie apocalypse in cinema standards
Thanks Dave! Appreciate the weigh in on “Horse Girl” / I think you’d like this one. It’s quirky and funny and balanced with meaningful relationship gravitas.
Incredibly sad when you hear a famous person dies from suicide. We're left to wonder--as are the loved ones they left behind--why? What did I miss? How could it have gone this far? Did he ever get counseling? If so, was it not working? Such a shame.
What a beautiful ode to Baena and review. I don’t know his work but I’m an Aubrey fan. Will check out Life After Beth. So sad about his death. 😞
Thanks! It’s very sad. 😔 I’ve been processing my thoughts on his death for a while. Felt good to produce this
I'm a big big fan of Horse Girl. It's unique, but the quite satisfying kind. Still need to check this one out someday.
