I was just thinking the other day that The Studio probably didn't hook you at first because it basically has no storyline and character development. Now I want to hear all your thoughts about it 😊.
I appreciate you think this. My family can attest to the fact that laughing out loud only comes easy when I’m overly tired. So it’s rare for me to laugh out loud when I’m not 🥱
Ditto! You had me at Jane and the Frenchiness. I CANNOT WAIT to watch it! I read none of the spoilers so that I can be organically delighted or disappointed as need be. I love even knowing about this picture as I have been so busy typesetting... lol. Thank you!
You had me at Jane. I’m with you, sis. Anything having to do with Ms Austen would have me honking down Mass Ave to get to the theatre. Mid week elixir—- great description.
I’m not an Anne Hathaway fan but I enjoyed The Idea of You. Good movie and it’s about time Hollywood promotes older women with younger men. Are you too young to remember the movie Wolf? Nicholson was 57 and Pfeiffer was 34.
I'm still waiting for this to appear in the UK! I was waiting to watch it before I commented here.. Apparently, it'll appear on Apple today!
Ahh, this sounds right up my alley. Looking for that Darcy-esque level pining with the clench of his fist and whatnot!
Totally! It’s a fun watch. I saw it with an audience in the theater equally as regency romance invested. It helped
It's a yes from me.

I just saw the finale of The Studio and laughed for like a straight five minutes. I never laugh out loud.
With your funky, upbeat personality (but with a sombre twist every now and again), I had imagined you were constantly laughing out loud! 😆

I shall re-imagine a quiet guffaw, with the occasional belly laugh! 🤭
Haha I see it got to you! It was a fun show to watch
I called the “weekend at Bernie’s” approach and just couldn’t stop cracking up
Hahaha yes both me and my partner said "are they going to do a weekend at Bernie's" just before they did it and then high fived.
dark, brooding good looks...count me in!
I’m with you!!
Love the review! I was debating driving all the way downtown for this one. You may have convinced me!

You need to see this. It will be a treat. Then come back and finish reading!

Thanks! I remember Wolf! It’s a Mike Nichols film (just found out) The Idea of You worked well. I too am not a huge Hathaway fan but it was good.
You had me at “I survived the workweek” treat.
:)
Well this looks lovely! I’ll have to see if I can catch it somewhere.
Thanks Mark! You should. It was quite lovely and had humor injected throughout
