I had to look up dom. Hehe. It’s also a computer term.

I love getting to know you in your reviews and how you related to the main character of this short.

Please keep us informed about your novel.

There’s a Flight Attendant 2?! We enjoyed season 1.

Thank you!! I appreciate this.

I will definitely keep you informed on the novel front.

Flight Attendant 2 is not as good as the first season but I still loved it. There was more of Cassie talking to her multiple personalities. I mean she doesn’t really have multiple personalities but like the different parts of her psyche that manifest through stressful times and trauma. I’m here for how Cuoco is putting it out there. I’m really impressed with her work and big swings. The other show she had on Peacock we also watched and loved the first season but second season was unwatchable. Found out the show was cancelled.

Love that you brought attention to a short film with a relevant theme especially considering your manuscript.

There was a short film a few years ago called Night Ride that I really enjoyed, you might enjoy its highlighting of someone finding their voice as opposed to continuing to be a passenger in their own life.

Sounds like a short film the world and women need more of! Also, how is One Golden Summer?

Yes! We do. It’s made me even more motivated to get my book out there!

I enjoyed One Golden Summer - the main character is so relatable. And Carley’s work is all Canada 🇨🇦 (Toronto, Muskoka)

Thank you! I am so excited about this work and your journey. I can't wait to screen more of your work or read it if you ever pen a romance book. I'm here for it! Be well.

Short films so seldom get the spotlight, and I often find myself wishing that more were on the radar (especially having written several myself.) So I really appreciated this post. Thanks for writing about a short, Beth!

Thx Alyson! I love shorts, especially witty and poignant ones like these. The filmmaker imho is forced to make very intentional and carefully laid out decisions about every second of the movie. The result is a well engineered piece of work!

It's been forever seen I've seen a short film or read anything highlighting a short film. Thanks for this super thoughtful review. The theme definitely speaks to me and I can't believe all of this happens in 10 minutes.
