Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Rock, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, and Chris Messina are a winning combination in this classic sports movie genre of hungry underdog triumphs over the elitist big wigs.
Congrats on your Celtics! Tatum had to literally one-up Curry, didn’t he? Was hoping for a repeat of last year’s finals, but I do not like the Lakers so am rooting for the Nuggets.
Im rooting for the Nuggets too. Of course the Celtics in the finals I’m hoping for but if not, Nuggets all the way! So many coaches getting fired with the latest casualty being the Suns coach. But adding to Milwaukee, Toronto, and possibly Philly now…
I feel like Doc Rivers got his one ring for the Celtics and since then has had disappointing playoff loss after disappointing playoff loss. I'm not saying the 76ers are the Clippers (who are eternally cursed), but his track record isn't great.
Seattle is still bitter about the betrayal of losing the Sonics, so I didn’t even know basketball was still happening. We’re all about hockey now, with the Kraken advancing into the playoffs during our second year in existence! I grew up in Minnesota before the Timberwolves arrived though, so we all rooted for Jordan and the Bulls. ❤️
This movie is on my list, so I’m glad it came to streaming!
I wasn’t sure when Timberwolves franchise in Minnesota started. Thanks for the education on that front and if you are a Bulls fan from the 80s, it’s a must watch. The entire intro is 80s pop culture references and consumer products. And the soundtrack is so fun. I will never get tired of hearing “Sister Christian”
And Air is on my list. My wife hates sports so I’ll have to find solo time for that one.
