An Update with an Exclamation Point

Hi BEVP Subscribers,
First off, I want to thank you for being such passionate TV and film enthusiasts and reading reviews here. There are no shortage of online sources you can go to for your entertainment reviews (and likely do) so the fact that you choose to read BEVP means a lot.
I’m close to hitting the 100 subscribers mark and when I started this TV and film Substack in 2021, envisioning anyone who wasn’t family or a really close friend reading my work seemed unconceivable. Now I know it’s not and that’s a good feeling.
Now for the next update.
This week I launched a new Substack, Clicking + Waiting
It’s a book and I will be releasing in the form of new chapters on a weekly basis. The book is a work of fiction and my desire is for it to be a fun and a bit of a guilty pleasure read.
Working on the book itself and figuring out where to publish it and then releasing it as a serial on this platform feels a bit like birthing a child, I’m not gonna lie. That’s the best analogy I have. I get to drink more iced coffee though. That’s a plus.

On the TV front, I’ve watched some BEVP-worthy shows, apart from Justified: City Primeval, in the past month, including The Afterparty, season 2 and Hijack with Idris Elba on Apple TV+. So is Becca going to be a lin avid TV watcher? I’m subscribed! Here’s one suggestion-- buy a character! Offer your readers the chance to become a literary icon as a character in the book! 100 dollars gets you a cameo. 250 gets you a sex scene. 500 gets you a recurring role. Something like that.
